DO NOT READ: BOREDOM LIES BENEATH

Hey EO Backers! This is Rick! If Opie knew I was posting an update and actually talking to our backers, he would flip. Jesse would just cringe, but Opie would actually blow a gasket. He keeps a note above his computer that say "DON'T LET RICK TALK TO THE BACKERS", but I'm sure he doesn't mean it.
Jesse and Opie have been friends all their lives. I was only invited to tag along about 10 years ago, because they worked for me at my company, Eyevox Entertainment, and they had no choice. Fast forward to today, and we are partners in this thing called Certifiable Studios. And so far, it's been a lot of fun, but it certainly has its challenges. The reason we work so well together, I think, is because we are all so different. Jesse is the incredible, but humble, artist, Opie is the bigger than life dreamer, and I'm the boring realist.
So...here I am. and let me just say WOW! You guys are amazing! The support we have gotten for this game is simply mind-blowing. Getting really close to hitting $75k for the campaign, and we only have a short 31 days to go. For those of you that think the campaign was too long, you can blame me (as if you needed permission). I've been in business a long time, but with this being our first KS campaign, I wanted to give us some room to adjust for some inevitable mistakes. In doing so, we've been incredibly grateful for the great advice from our backers, and ways to make this a better campaign and an even better game.
The three of us all had different ideas what the potential of this game may be, ranging from "can we actually reach our $4,097 goal?" to "do you think we can buy an Island and make a real Condyle Cove?" But the one thing we couldn't be more on the same page with is wanting to make sure this campaign delivers on the sadness (happiness?) we promise in a manner that you end up saying "wow, they actually did know what they were doing!"
As we get closer to the KS valley, I would like to ask for your help. We have some exciting stretch goals in our future, but can only get there if we keep on keeping on. We will also be adding a new tier level (or two) later this week for those of you that are never satisfied (you know who you are). If you are on Facebook, please like Certifiable Studios and share with your friends. Please join our KS conversation in the comments to add some suggestions or just share some poetry. Join the Endangered Orphans conversation on BGG. Track us on Kicktraq to help keep us in the hot list. And if you love Jesse's art as much as I do, you can follow him on Instagram @labbejesse.
I hope y'all (that's Mississippi talk for "you all") have stayed safe from the Boogeyman this weekend, and now I invite you to enjoy this blast from the past (10 years?) when Jesse and Opie worked at Eyevox and still liked me. Enjoy!
Cheers!
Rick

UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: Hi all! Opie here. I have allowed this outreach to our backers from Rick for one reason and one reason only: Rick Moore can do whatever the hell he wants. I learned long ago that trusting Rick equated to not going bankrupt, so... very well.
Jesse and I had no idea he would post this old video (From 2004!) But since he did... I felt we should point out that it features music and vocals from the very very amazing Mr. Josh Heath Scott of JHS Pedals (this was well before he started selling pedals to mega stars like THESE PEOPLE. Josh and his wife Alice were long time collaborators, from big projects to little silly things like this one that we never thought anyone outside work would see.
